So what’s the skinny surrounding Refissa? Well there’s really not much to the product. It can either be a prescription cosmetic or something you can purchase over the counter. Two companies are responsible for making the product, Spear Pharmaceuticals and Obagi and each wants the consumer to believe that this product will not only help eliminate wrinkles but will also help improve the body’s production of collagen and elasticity.
The latter two are important because the better the skin produces both collagen and elasticity the stronger the skin becomes. If the skin is healthy and strong, wrinkles are less likely to appear.
Are there negative side effects associated with Refissa?
The ingredient profile isn’t super impressive. The driving ingredient in the formula appears to be tretinoin, which has a decent track record for eliminating wrinkles from certain areas of the body. However, there’s also a downside to the ingredient. It may lead to the skin being sensitive to the sun. There are also other potential side effects such as redness, itching and peeling.
How much will Refissa cost me?
Overpriced. Sorry, I don’t mean to be so blunt, but there’s no need to sugar coat it. This product, if purchased over the counter, can cost over $80 maybe even closer to $90. You can find a much cheaper solution to skin care then this product.
Final thoughts
I’m not terribly impressed with the product. I think there is some value in the formula, despite the potential side effects. But they over price the product, essentially pricing it out of being really competitive. There are products, several of which we review here on our site, that can be found for whale of a lot cheaper and can essentially do the same thing.
