Dermavexin
Dermavexin is a wrinkle cream that promises to deliver prescription grade results with having to get a prescription. The driving agent in Dermavexin is a new major breakthrough called “stem-cell” technology. They claim to be the only product to be using this so-called technology but it appears that might not to be the case. I’ve seen other products that claim to use similar technology.
They aren’t the first ones to target cell rejuvenation, which really is what this product tries to accomplish. While it isn’t the first to make use of this strategy, the process does appear to be effective.
How does Dermavexin work?
By using a blend of 5 peptides in the formula they want to invade the applied area with these peptides, which they then hope will improve the body’s production of Collagen. Collagen plays an important role in skin care because the protein works to increase skin elasticity and firmness.
Collagen is made up of strands of peptides. Do you see the idea behind the product? The more peptides result in more collagen, which equals better and healthier skin.
Here’s the complete list of ingedients in Dermavexin taken right from their website:
Deionized Water • Peption-5 (Penapeptide-19) • (Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4) • (Oligopeptide-29) • (Octapeptide-4) • (Decapeptide-7) • Glycerin / Water / Disodium Adenosine Triphosphate / Algin / Carica Papaya (Papaya) Fruit Extract • Hydrolyzed Extensin • Dipropylene Glycol • Glycerin • Jojoba Oil • Sodium Hyaluronate (1%) • Adenosine • Glycerin / Glyceryl Acrylate / Acrylic Acid / Copolymer / Cyclopentasiloxane / Cyclotetrasiloxane / Dimethiconol • Propylene Glycol / Polysorbate 20 • Allantoin • Cyclomethicone • Dipotassium Glycrrhizate Polyacylamide / C13 – C14 Isoparaffin / Laureth-7 • Vinyl Dimethicone / Lauryl Dimethicone Crosspolymer / Water / Ethylhexyl Stearate / Laureth-23 • Methylparaben • Disodium EDTA • Perfume.
There’s a lot of stuff going on in there, but the most important are the 5 peptides listed at the beginning. Those are what will help produce all that collagen.
Price
The problem with peptides is that they’re expensive. That’s a major reason why you don’t see a lot of products that contain such a high concentration. Because of their cost, the price of this product gets driven up. Don’t be surprised to pay over $100 for a months supply.
Final thoughts
Is it worth the $100 plus asking price? Based on what I’ve read and seen it seems that it is. People have responded well and have seen varying success. Will it eliminate all your wrinkles in 2 weeks? Highly unlikely, but it could help remove some.
